Associate Director S&OP & Continuous Improvement


Status: Full-Time, permanent position | Location: Vaudreuil-Dorion, QC
Report To: Vice President of Product Management and Supply Chain | Service: Supply Chain

OVERVIEW

The Associate Director S&OP & Continuous Improvement will be responsible in leading critical supply chain functions, including Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), logistics strategy, cost reduction projects (CRP), and data analytics. This role will oversee teams across multiple distribution centers and play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and supporting integrations within the organization.

The Associate Director S&OP & Continuous Improvement will perform other related tasks as requested by their immediate supervisor and will liaise with the different departments, outside stakeholders and partners.
 

RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Lead S&OP Process
  • Manage and execute the monthly S&OP process, ensuring alignment across departments.
  • Develop and present monthly S&OP dashboards highlighting challenges, actions, and key insights.
  • Lead a team of analysts (3 direct reports) to enhance data quality and reporting accuracy.
  • Standardize templates and data sources to ensure consistency in reporting.
  • Collaborate with Finance to deliver integrated S&OP analyses and recommendations.
  • Prepare insightful reports for senior management, combining demand and supply data.

2. Strategize and Oversee Logistics Operations
  • Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize the supply chain across 3 sites.
  • Manage logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
  • Lead a team of and 4 indirect reports in logistics (1 in Calgary, 1 in Toronto and 2 in Vaudreuil).
  • Identify opportunities for operational innovation and risk mitigation.
  • Monitor logistics performance and present actionable insights to senior management.

3. Manage the CRP Portfolio
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of cost-reduction projects, prioritizing high-ROI opportunities.
  • Oversee and track the entire CRP portfolio, collaborating with project managers organization-wide.
  • Act as Project Manager for complex cost-reduction initiatives.
  • Align with Finance to ensure budget targets and KPIs are achieved.

 4. Lead Data Quality and Power BI Strategy
 Data Quality Management
  • Define and implement data governance standards to ensure reliable and consistent data.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve data discrepancies and close gaps.
Power BI Strategy and Reporting
  • Design and maintain Power BI dashboards to support S&OP, financial forecasting, and KPIs.
  • Train team members on Power BI usage and analytics interpretation.
  • Ensure seamless data integration between Power BI and key systems, including ERP and CRM.

5. Facilitate Organizational Integrations
  • Support the integration of new acquisitions, sites, and parent company processes.
  • Ensure smooth alignment of supply chain functions with the organizational roadmap.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • 5–10 years of experience in supply chain management, including demand planning, inventory planning, and logistics.
  • Expertise in modern manufacturing, material flow, and logistics strategies.
  • Solid understanding of financial systems and supply chain drivers.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Power BI, and SAP software.
 

CONDITIONS

  • This position requires travel outside the country several times a year.
  • This hybrid position entails working three days per week from the office and two days per week remotely.
