Graphic Designer – Maternity Leave Replacement (6 months)

Status: Temporary 6 months, Full-Time | Location: Vaudreuil-Dorion, QC

OVERVIEW

Our in-house Design Studio is on the lookout for a talented Graphic Designer to join our creative team. Reporting to the Graphic Design Manager, you'll be at the forefront of creating assets that capture the vibrant essence of our leading alloy wheel brands, accessories, and tires. If you are proactive, collaborative, have an eye for detail, and a passion for design, this role is for you!

As a Graphic Designer, you'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of creative projects, designing everything from eye-catching catalogs and event visuals to compelling product launch assets and engaging campaign materials for print, retail, web, and other digital channels, including social media. You'll ensure top-quality execution of all digital brand projects while adhering to our guidelines. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create captivating seasonal catalogs, flyers and brochures that highlight Fastco’s product offering across wheels, tires and accessories.
• Design eye-catching event visuals, including media walls and pop-up banners, that create memorable brand experiences.
• Develop standout packaging designs for wheels and accessories, enhancing product sell-thru and brand recognition.
• Conceptualize and execute innovative visual concepts for promotional merchandise.
• Produce dynamic and engaging assets for social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and X.
• Design impactful digital marketing assets, including email campaign graphics, website banners, and landing pages that drive engagement and conversions.

QUALIFICATIONS

• College degree in graphic design, bachelor’s degree in graphic design or relevant experience
• A portfolio with a variety of different projects
• Experience in catalog creation, design and layout
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar position
• Excellent knowledge of the Adobe Suite, notably Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign (to be used on a daily basis)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on PowerPoint
• Knowledge of digital content best practices and common challenges
• Great knowledge of French and English (spoken & written)

 

CONDITIONS

• This is a primarily remote role with occasional travel to the Fastco Canada headquarters in Vaudreuil-Dorion, QC
