Inside Sales Specialist


Status: Full-time, permanent position | Location: Vaudreuil-Dorion, QC
Report To: Director of Sales | Service: Sales & Marketing

Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Inside Sales Specialist shall ensure that our customers are informed of all our programs at the earliest opportunity. They will make every effort to meet and exceed all company Sales Forecasts which will include:

  • Activation / reactivation of inactive or under-performing ($<1000) accounts.
  • Promotion / execution of clearance product to all customers

They will execute any other related duties as requested by their immediate supervisor, all in accordance with our procedure and internal regulations.
 

RESPONSABILITIES

Maintaining Business Relationship and Generating Sales | 85%

  1. Ensure that the targeted goals for Inside Sales are achieved/exceeded.
  2. Establish contact with active and inactive clients by identifying them on the closure list.
  3. Create relationships with remote area clients (Thunder Bay, Winnipeg, Rimouski, etc.)
  4. Establish contact with high volume clients in order to promote any clearance inventory.
  5. Promotes our products and Fastco services through marketing campaign tools and ensure a solid follow-up by phone, Email, etc…
  6. Support the Marketing Team with information regarding promotions; suggest future promotions, planning, etc…
  7. Provide assistance to our customers regarding POP materials (posters, brochures, banners, etc.)
  8. As a back-up, provide excellence in Customer and Sales Support and after-sale service in both French and English. Also be an extended member during peak season (October/ November)
  9. Participate in numerous company events (Car shows, Customer Shows, etc.)
  10. Make onsite client presentations (as needed).
  11. Develop sales plans and strategies based on the market analysis and the industry.
  12. Collaborates with the Director of Sales, develops a strategy for the sales projects and positioning within the company.
  13. Ensure that profit margins are attained as per instructions.
 

Administration | 15%

  1. Generate statistics on our customers.
  2. Produce various reports on our customers.
  3. Prepare, analyse, and structure sales reports.
  4. Ensure that the monthly promotions are broadcast to our customers.
  5. Review and maintain the electronic databases of our customers.

ACADEMIC ASPECTS AND EXPERIENCE

  • High School Diploma.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in sales.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in customer service in a similar field.
  • Bilingual, (French and English written and spoken).
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of the wheels / tire industry is a strong asset.
  • Must have a valid driver’s licence.
