Territory Manager SK & MB


Status: Full-Time, Permanent Position | Location: Saskatchewan and Manitoba
Report To: Director of Sales | Service: Sales

OVERVIEW

Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Territory Manager will have as main responsibilities the development of the territory market which includes the provinces of Saskatchewan and Manitoba. They will build relationships that foster sales with the customers. They will work alongside the internal support team to market Fastco’s products and services and ensure that our clients are constantly aware of all programs. They will strive to reach, and even surpass, the company's sales targets.

The Territory Manager is also responsible for maintaining and/or exceeding profit margin thresholds for their territory. They will perform any other related duties as requested by their immediate supervisor, all in accordance with the internal company procedures and rules.
 

RESPONSIBILITIES

Management of business relations and sales
  • Participate in all business development activities (congresses, conferences, etc…)
  • Analyze product needs and negotiate appropriate contracts with potential customers.
  • Manage all sales activities within its territory (customer and other presentations).
  • Will ensure to make professional presentations when visiting customers.
  • Will collaborate with marketing to develop new sales tools (information, materials…) to introduce the company and the offered products.
  • Participate in various shows, fairs or other activities related to the company field of expertise.
  • Establish sales plans and strategies based on market and industry assessment.
  • Develop, in collaboration with the Director, commercial sales strategies for sales projects and positioning of the company.
  • Contact potential clients and distant customers once a week to build solid and durable business relations.

Administration
  • Prepare, review and organize all sales reports.
  • Ensure that monthly specials are communicated to clients.
  • Review and maintain client databases on the computer.
  • Review the Daily Transactions Report.
  • Prepare or assist with sales quotes/contracts.

Market
  • Participate in the development and implementation of the sales and marketing plan.
  • Conduct or analyze market research which includes competitive analysis in the territory.
  • Participate in the marketing of products and services.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma.
  • Minimum of five years of sales experience.
  • Great knowledge of English (spoken and written). Knowledge of French would be an asset.
  • Great knowledge of MS Office (specifically Excel).
  • Great knowledge of the wheels and tires industry would be an asset.
  • Have a valid driver’s licence.
